Two Portuguese dudes: Both André, both Mendonça...

Part of the collective Bacalhau 3000, where they explore 60’s/70’s/80’s Brazilian music with their partner in crime Lucas Araújo, Hermanos Mendonza is a side project where they embark on a trip across garage and psychedelic with many stops in between.

Growing up in the suburbs of Lisbon, their affection for music was translated in many musical projects throughout the years until their paths split in 2016. André Mendonça moved to Switzerland and continued his musical adventures, playing in bands and working in music venues in Bern. The other André Mendonça, remained in Lisbon involved in different collectives, labels, bands; until their paths crossed again this year in Switzerland.
