Animal Farm is a techno, exclusive B2B-based concept which aims to foster new synergies between artists, exploring beyond the boundaries of self glorification and finding creativity through sharing and treasuring mutual enrichment.
The name "Animal Farm" takes clear inspiration from the eponymous novel by George Orwell. The story tells of various mistreated animals who, despite their differences, organize a revolt against the oppressive farmer. However, when it comes to managing the farm, the pigs deem themselves superior and become oppressors in turn, mistreating the other animals and ultimately replacing the figure of the farmer.
This narrative serves as a critique of social behavior that applies as much to political systems as it does to smaller realities, such as the electronic music subculture. This parallel inspired us to create a platform for artists who are willing to set aside self-idolization for a greater purpose.
Until today, Animal Farm has been done under an event series format, taking place at Le Zoo (Geneva) and at Giri (Berlin).
