While sitting with the reality of our violent and unsteady world we want to allow ourselves space to think, create and hear about: What kind of world do we want to live in? What utopias do we want to create? And what do we want to feel? Euphoria is our answer and the dominant feeling we want to transcend in our TRNSTN radio residency. How does a euphoric utopia sound like? The residency is intended to inspire listeners with hope and give inspiration for new utopian thoughts, ideas and creations. The residency is meant to give women, inter, non-binary or trans artists and their exploration of Euphoric Utopias a platform to share their music and thoughts on their individual ideas for utopic futures which might become reality. And, the residency allows us, Noëmi and Isabel from ALÉLÉFI, to expand our own musical knowledge, create new encounters, relationships and connections and find answers to our questions. We hope to stumble across personal, political and social issues and use Euphoric Utopias to create ideas for more justice, kindness, diversity and connection in music creation and other areas of life.
