DREAMSONIC is delighted to welcome DJ and producer Belia Winnewisser for the upcoming show on TRNSTN RADIO. Playful and curious, enigmatic and energetic, with a love of small details and grand gestures: Belia Winnewisser's musical language is personal. Enjoying a piece of her music is like having a conversation with the Zurich musician, listening to an entire album is like a day spent together. After many years in various bands (Evje, Silver Firs, a=f/m) and studying music and media art at the Bern University of thre Arts, she released her first solo EP Radikale Akzeptanz in 2018 followed by a her second EP SODA in 2021 both on Präsens Editionen. Her experience as a club DJ definitely shines through Belia's latest two rhytmically gripping productions: Mother Earth Took Poison In Her Soil (Die Orakel, 2022) and Tid (with Luca Durán, Präsens Editionen, 2023). Belia Winnewisser finds a balance in collaboration, whether with the video artist. For the next DREAMSONIC show, the amazingly talented Jamira Estrada will take over the decks. The Zurich-based DJ showcases her fascination for experimental, obscure, and versatile sounds by combining broken beats, acid, and techno - enhanced with subtle nuances, her sets result in lasting experiences. With her boundless spirit, she defies all limitations and has gained widespread recognition for her electrifying dance floor performances, which have enlivened countless parties throughout Europe and, most recently, in Mexico City, where she played alongside Bianca Oblivion, OMAAR, and DJ Fucci, to name a few. One of her most significant milestones is her recent opportunity to deliver an outstanding DJ performance at Boiler Room Zurich.
