The Now In Sound: Norient On Air w/ Philipp Rhensius Aka Alienationist

Philipp Rhensius is a writer, musician, sound artist, sociologist, musicologist, poet and editor for Norient based in Berlin. His work is driven by the idea that feeling the chains is the first step of emancipation. In his music projects (Kl.ne, aphtc, Alienationst), Rhensius merges sonic fiction with sardonic poetry, queer theory and visceral sound. Together with Norient, Philipp attempts to facilitate spaces of thinking and being to open up possibilities for new ideas, and making the familiar unfamiliar and vice versa.
